We submitted "Tallest Building in Hell" for this years PDX POP NOW! compilation and we just found out it made it on! We submitted last year too but it was before the mastering or really any of the mixing was done on "Caffenie, Alcohol, Sunshine, Money"

Anyway, if you haven't recently, check out www.pdxpopnow.com for all the info on who else made this year's compilation. Also you can vote for us to play this years PDX POP NOW! Festival. The comp looks like it'll be released on June 4th @ Holocene in PDX and then the Fest is July 24-26th

Shake Your Money Maker

Welcome to Hershman Manor! Treasure troves of solitude and warm isolation inside the cozy home of Cliff and Marie Hershman. They welcomed us with open arms and wonderful cuisine. Laid back beer drinking of the ale, and energy recharging sessions by the fire. Waking up early to the sites of Lake Eerie and downtown Cleveland was inspiring. A crazy, unexpected dance-a-thon happened inside the dilapidated exterior of Pat's in the Flats. See Urchins brought the tribal dance fun(k)... and made the crowd in attendance smile from ear to ear. Jared Mees and Finn Riggins followed up the energy with their own brand of dance vibes and momentous occasions of getting one's groove on. And so as it goes.. every stop needs a go. Unfortunately we can't live forever at the Hershman's, or else we would. For now it's on to Ithica, New York and a ton more good times.

Everyone, on the stage!

What do you do when life gives you an empty room to play in? You tell the folks to get the heck up on stage and have a great time.... And ya know what? It freakin worked! Here is the view of what Rhino's in Bloomington, IN looked like.

Denny & Joan's French Toast Extravaganza

WAKE UP!! GOOD MORNING!! Phase 2 of this space odyssey. Deny & Joan Fitzpatrick have welcome the crew into their homes, and we've eaten more than an army's worth. Slumber party on the floor and late night conversations on the deck. Radio Radio proved to be a severely needed morale boost, and the crowd received Finn and the Children really well. Many many many many thanks to the friends and family who made it out to make the night truly special. Indianapolis is amazingly beautiful at the moment, the weather is treating us to sunshine. The crew has really gotten to share some quality time with ma and pa Fitzpatrick. Next up, Bloomington and a crazy Friday night in the university setting. The Hoosier state is treating us well... next up the great state of Ohio and the home of J. Hershman. Here's to full moons, America Owns the Moon, rocking out and dancing the night away.

Christmas Tree Farm, Missing..

Stop the presses.. we have an urgent warning. There has been a looting on the christmas tree farm in Morrison, Illinois. Earlier today, the perpetrators got away with several acres of fresh douglas fir. A suspicious brown van was sighted barreling down the interstate at 65mph!! If you have any details on the Christmas Trees Farm Banditos, please let us know immediately.. as they are armed with musical gear and dangerous, fancy, magic tricks. Be avised, they will play music for money. Ding Dong!

Liquifaction

Sustaining thunderous wail blows to the ear drums, aftermath of a bizarre show at best, bit o' a bummer at worst. Finn wins the Nobel Peace Prize and coincidences seem to be picking up speed. A salute to Mr. Sam for driving the james brown through some Montana snow fields. In Bozeman currently.. don't know exactly how long the stay will be. Snow day tomorrow? Tune in for morning school closures. Get your dancing shoes on, we're going to church.
